Who's ready for a great week of working real hard to do stuff we should probably already be doing anyway? ;)

Here's the challenge:

40 oz water
15 min exercise
2 servings fruit & veg

TOTAL POINTS:

Let me know any modifications anyone wants to make.  It started out primarily as an exercise challenge with some other good stuff added to it, so originally it was 45 minutes of exercise.  Every day.  I knew I was setting myself up for failure with that, so Marty and I changed it to 15 and it worked really well for us that way (often we got in the groove and spent longer anyway).  It's important to Mom to keep it at 45 for her, so she'll be doing 45.  Since she's all ambitious like that, we'll give her a break on the sweets. :)  About the fast food - you can eat fast food for every meal if you want, just no BAD fast food (burgers, fries, our weekly 5 buck pizza!).  

Remember you have a free day for each of the 10 challenges, birthdays are another automatic free day.  We gave ourselves an automatic free pass for exercise on Sundays and did NOT count that as the free day (meaning you only have to exercise 5 days a week - you have Sunday off AND can pick another free day). 

Is it cool with anyone else if we count a smoothie as half of the fruits and veggies needed?  Honestly, it would probably be closer to the full thing, but I'm needing to add more fruits and veggies into my day rather than just drinking my smoothie and calling it quits with produce the rest of the day.

I think we could also start off by saying that leaving a comment with how many points you got that day counts as your journal entry.  Thoughts?

DON'T FREAK OUT and get discouraged and quit if you don't get all your points!  It's rare to get all your points every week.  Some sections will be easier to get into habit than others.  Sometimes you might pick a personal goal and then not get a single point for it and wonder what you were thinking with that goal, but the next week you can just change it and try again.  

So hows about we try to each leave a comment each night with your name, date, and how many points for that date?  If you don't get to it every night, that's fine, just keep track of it and post when you can. I'll sum up each week.

Love you guys!  No pressure - if this isn't your bag or it doesn't work out, Marty and I will just keep doing it anyway cause we really need to.  It's something that has worked for us, but everyone has different systems that work for them personally.
